BRISTOL, UK— Inductosense has secured funds from Aramco Ventures to further develop its Inductosense WAND technology for wall thickness corrosion monitoring. This latest investment round brings the total amount raised by Inductosense to more than $10 million.
The development is said to provide a “seamless migration” from manual collection of corrosion data to a fully automated Internet of Things solution.
Inductosense says the repeatable measurements from the WAND sensors allow users to trend data, take decisions and improve safety.
WAND technology has been deployed globally in a range of industries including oil and gas. Aramco trialed the system across six sites and subsequently approved the technology last year.
