HOUSTON -- BG Trinidad & Tobago (BG T&T) has awarded Granherne contracts totaling $1.2 million for two pre-front-end engineering and design (pre-FEED) studies.
Under the first item, Granherne will study provision of compression to BG T&T North Coast Marine Area (NCMA) facilities that deliver gas to Atlantic LNG. The concept will examine both offshore and onshore solutions. A final solution will be selected during the pre-FEED phase, the company says.
The second study reviews of the facilities at BG T&T's East Coast Marine Area (ECMA) onshore gas plant at Beachfield, including a review of the arriving offshore pipeline and onshore reception facilities. The study includes design for operational upgrades as well as enhancements to the facility that will help BG T&T meet future demand. Work is expected to begin immediately.
