ABERDEEN, UK – Maersk Oil has contracted software specialist Adept Solutions to provide hydrocarbon accounting services for the Culzean field development in the UK central North Sea.
Richard Alderson, Adept’s managing director, said: “Hydrocarbon accounting is the cash register of any oil and gas operator’s business; fully auditable software is essential in determining and forecasting the production values of every well and field out there.”
The company will construct an integrated production management system for this project and provide maintenance and support through 2027.
