HOUSTON –Tenaris and CRC-Evans have agreed to offer an integral package of tubular line pipe and welding technologies directed at offshore operations.

The cooperation agreement will allow the companies to jointly develop specialized pipe metal compositions and properties alongside welding development and qualifications.

This agreement follows one in early 2011 that includes use of CRC-Evans welding solutions at the Tenaris R&D Center in Mexico.

The combination aligns the pipe supplier and welding service provider to cover seamless heavy-wall line pipe, HP/HT, sour service, enhanced fatigue flowlines and risers, as well as welding of corrosion resistant allows and clad pipes, among other combinations.
