Offshore staff
ABU DHABI, UAE – Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) and China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) have agreed to jointly explore opportunities for collaboration in the upstream and downstream sectors and in LNG.
They will also share knowledge, best practices, and the latest proven technologies in ultra-sour gas development in order to improve operational efficiency in sour gas processing and treatment; efficiency, performance and reliability of sour gas drilling operations; and field/reservoir development plans.
Additionally, China Offshore Oil Engineering Co. and China Oilfield Services Ltd. could collaborate with the companies on existing and future offshore oil and gas field assets in Abu Dhabi.
As for the agreement on LNG, this could involve LNG sales and purchase opportunities, knowledge sharing in LNG markets, and potential partnerships and joint-investment opportunities.
