TEHRAN, Iran – Two new platforms are ready to start operations at Phase 13 of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf, according to news service Shana.
The location is in the northwestern part of the field.
Iranian contractors SADRA and Tesco delivered platforms 13B and 13D, both constructed at the Bushehr Yard of the Iran Offshore Industrial Park.
At peak they should supply 1 bcf/d (28 MMcm/d) of rich gas from SP13 via a 32-in. subsea pipeline to an onshore processing plant.
