PAPENDRECHT, the Netherlands/SHARJAH, UAE – Saudi Aramco has designated Royal Boskalis Westminster and Lamprell as approved contractors for its Long-Term Agreement for Offshore Facilities (LTA) program.

This covers engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, and installation (EPCI) contracts to support Aramco’s Offshore Maintain Potential Program, Oil & Gas Program, and other offshore expansion activities.

Within the scope of the LTA, investments could surpass $3 billion annually over a six-year period, with options to extend for up to six more years.

The program allows the selected contractors to bid for tenders issued by Aramco without the need for further technical pre-qualification, reducing the lead time through to award.

Boskalis acquired the agreement through a consortium with Lamprell, which will be responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction of any awarded offshore structures, such as topsides and jackets.

Subsequent transportation and installation will be Boskalis’ responsibility, in addition to dredging and subsea activities such as survey and pipeline/cable installations.
