Offshore staff
HOUSTON – McDermott International has issued an update on its offshore construction activity in the Middle East.
Work has progressed on Saudi Aramco’s Safaniya Phase 5 development with six of the 10 platforms now installed, and pipeline installation and hook-up complete on two of the platforms.
Fabrication is also on track for Safaniya Phase 6, with preparations under way for the offshore dredging.
McDermott achieved mechanical completion on all Aramco long-term agreement (LTA II) lump sum offshore facilities.
Offshore Qatar, engineering and procurement continues on the Bul Hanine project is progressing as planned, and the company has completed front-end engineering design for the Qatar Gas NFPS project.
