GODALMING, UK – Hurricane Energy has issued an update on its Lancaster oil field early production system (EPS) project west of Shetland.

TechnipFMC has delivered the horizontal x-mas tree systems, including fishing-friendly protective structures, from its facility in Dunfermline, central Scotland.

Proserv will now undertake integration and testing with its Intervention Workover Control Systems.

Thereafter, the x-mas tree systems will be prepared for loading onto the rig, to be installed during completion works planned for later this year.

TechnipFMC has also delivered the FPSO subsea control system from its plant in Kongsberg, and this will be shipped to Dubai for installation on theFPSOAoka Mizu.

In addition, the contractor is working with SBM Offshore Services to ensure safe and timely installation of the turret mooring system and subsea equipment (flowlines, risers, umbilical, jumpers and manifold), for the EPS.

All should be installed this summer.
