UTEC to support Greater Enfield subsea installations

ABERDEEN, UK – Technip Oceania has contracted UTEC to provide survey and positioning services for Woodside’s Greater Enfield project offshore Western Australia.

The work scope includes pre-lay surveys; onshore dimensional control; survey and positioning associated for the installation of rigid and flexible flowlines, umbilicals, jumpers, flying leads and other subsea structures; and as-laid surveys, as-built surveys, and final reporting.

Greater Enfield involves development of oil at the Laverda Canyon, Norton over Laverda (in the WA-59-L permit) and Cimatti (WA-28-L) accumulations. All reserves will be tied back to theNgujima-YinFPSO.

UTEC has set up a project management team in Perth and Singapore with additional personnel based in Kuala Lumpur. Offshore activity should begin soon.
