Solstad Offshore has secured new contracts for four of its vessels to support operations offshore Brazil and Western Australia.

These have a combined value of about $60 milllion.

Petrobras will keep the Normand Valiant construction support vessel for a further 1.5 years, starting in February in direct continuation of its current contract.

The same operator has extended the contract of the Normand Sagaris anchorhandler tug support (AHTS) vessel by 120 days until March, when it is due to start on a previously announced three-year assignment.

Offshore Western Australia, the current contract for the Normand Sirius AHTS will now run until August 2025, with an option to extend by a further 247 days. Another AHTS, Normand Saracen, has gained a 60-day extension to its program.

Both vessels will support drilling campaigns.

Solstad Maritime, in which Solstad Offshore has a 27.3% interest, owns all four vessels.
