SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – Solstad Offshore will supply the construction support vessel Normand Pioneer to Queiroz Galvão Exploração e Produção in Brazil under a two-year contract, with extension options.
The contract starts early next year and involves supporting production at theAtlanta oil field in the Santos basin.
TheNormand Pioneer will replace the currently operating anchorhandler tug supply vessel Far Sagaris.
In addition, Equinor Brazil has confirmed six-month extensions of contracts for Solstad’s platform supply vesselsFar Scotsman and Far Serenade.
Equinor UK has contracted Solstad’s PSVNormand Skipper for a contract lasting up to two years, and due to start soon. The operator has also exercized a one-year option on the present Sea Falcon contract.
