NITEROI, Brazil -- NorSkan Offshore has contracted STX Brazil Offshore for two anchor handling tug supply vessels for delivery during 2012-13.
These will be the first built to the new AH 11 design for deepwater operations, developed by STX Norway Offshore Design in Ålesund. Both will operate for Petrobras offshore Brazil.
The vessels will have an overall length of around 93 m (305 ft) and a molded breadth of 22 m (72 ft). Both will be built at STX’s shipyard in Niteroi.
