Hallin Marine charters new DP2 class vessel under construction in Singapore

(Singapore) Subsea contractor Hallin Marine is to charter a new DP2 subsea operations vessel from Sanko Line of Japan. It will take delivery of theSanko Angel in Singapore this fall, and plans to install one of its saturation diving systems and an air diving system.
The 76 m long, fuel-efficient vessel will eventually replace the ageingFu Lai, which Hallin has had on long-term charter for the past two years. It will feature over 700 sq m of working deck space, a marine seabed-plumbing 50 t SWL crane, and accommodation for a crew of up to 132.
