DES ALLEMANDS, Louisiana – Otto Candies LLC has entered into multi-year charter agreements with Canyon Offshore Inc. and Aqueos Corp.

Canyon Offshore, the Robotics division of Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc., has chartered the inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) vessel Ross Candies. The charter is expected to begin in July 2019 upon completion of a previously scheduled regulatory dry dock.

Canyon expects the vessel to support IMR operations for clients operating in the US Gulf of Mexico. The M/V Ross Candies is a Jones Act- and Coastwide Trade-compliant DP-2 vessel.

Aqueos Corp. has chartered the DP-2 dive support vessel Kelly Ann Candies. This high-spec, Jones Act-compliant vessel has a built-in 14-man Draeger saturation diving system complete with three-man bell, moonpool bell launch with cursor, self-propelled hyperbaric lifeboat, 60-ton crane, and berthing for 76 persons.

Aqueos has incorporated a “One Team Approach” between vessel and dive crew and has also added business partners Canyon Offshore for ROV services, T. Baker Smith for the provision of survey and vessel positioning, and Unique Hydra for the provision of the hyperbaric rescue facility.
