Pacific Rubiales orders second FLNG regasification vessel

Wison Offshore & Marine has won its second contract for a barge-based floating LNG regasification unit from a 50/50 joint venture between Exmar and Pacific Midstream Holding, a fully owned affiliate of Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp.

SHANGHAI, China – Wison Offshore & Marine has won its second contract for a barge-based floating LNG regasification unit from a 50/50 joint venture between Exmar and Pacific Midstream Holding, a fully owned affiliate of Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp.

The vessel will be built at Wison’s construction complex in Nantong, China, and is expected to be delivered in late 2015. Wison affiliates will be responsible for turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning.

Last month the contractor signed an agreement with VGS for abarge-based floating LNG regasification facility to be located offshore Andhra Pradesh, India.
