COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Petronas Carigali has extended the contract for the jackup Maersk Convincer by one year until mid-November 2015.
Owner Maersk Drilling estimates potential revenue from the extension at $56 million.
Maersk Convincer is one of two Baker Marine 375-ft (114-m) jackups in the company’s fleet. It has been working in Southeast Asia since its delivery from Jurong Shipyard in 2008 and has done duty for Petronas Carigali since 2011.
