FPSO to extend service on Jasmine field offshore Thailand

Mubadala Petroleum Thailand has opted to extend its lease of Petrofac’s Jasmine Venture FPSO for up to four more years.

LONDON – Mubadala Petroleum Thailand has opted to extend its lease of Petrofac’s Jasmine Venture FPSO for up to four more years.

The vessel is deployed on theJasmine field in the Gulf of Thailand. Petrofac will continue to provide operations and maintenance services.

The contractor acquired the vessel from Mubadala Petroleum in June 2011.

Rob Jewkes, COO of Petrofac Integrated Energy Services, said his company would continue to work with Mubadala “to identify potential areas for further support on this and future projects in theGulf of Thailand.”

Earlier this month, Petronas Carigali awarded Petrofac’s Kuala Lumpur-based subsidiary RNZ Integrated a five-year design and engineering services contract in the Malaysia region.
