KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Chevron has awarded MISC Offshore Floating Terminals a lease and operations contract for the FSO Benchamas 2 project in the Gulf of Thailand.
The $230-million contract runs for 10 years with options of up to five one-year extensions.
This will beMISC’s first job offshore Thailand. The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, lease, and operations of the FSO Benchamas 2, which is due to start operations by 2Q 2018.
