Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – Statoil UK has contracted OSM Offshore to operate the floating storage unit that will be deployed on the Mariner oil field in part-block 9/11a in the UK northern North Sea.
The contract, which starts on Feb. 1, runs for five years with three two-year extension options. It includes supervision of construction of the FSU in South Korea, pre-operation activities, transit from South Korea to the offshore location, and full management services on site.
In October 2013, Statoil awarded OSM Offshore AS a contract for the newHeidrun field FSU in the Norwegian Sea.
