Safe Bristolia to return to North Sea after repairs

LARNACA, Cyprus – Prosafe has issued an update on the operations of its semisubmersible accommodation platform fleet.
In early October,Safe Bristolia sustained weather-related damaged to lifeboats while working at BG’s Everest field in the UK central North Sea.
Operations had to be suspended and the vessel was delivered to the Hanøytangen shipyard in Norway for repair work. It is expected to be ready to resume work in advance of the start of the second part of the BG contract in April.
Safe Britannia and Safe Hibernia are working on shorter-term contract extensions offshore Mexico.
The newbuildSafe Boreas was delivered earlier this month from Jurong Shipyard in Singapore and is in transit to Norway. Lundin has contracted the vessel for hook-up and commissioning support at the new Edvard Grieg complex in the central Norwegian North Sea.
