SINGAPORE – Jurong Shipyard has awarded Ezra Holdings subsidiary London Marine Consultants (LMC) a contract to supply an external turret mooring system for the extended well test (EWT) FPSO vessel that will operate on the Libra oil field in the Santos basin offshore Brazil.
The location is 230 km (143 mi) from the coast of Rio de Janeiro, in waters up to 2,500 m (8,202 ft) deep.
Libra contains estimated to contain recoverable resources in the 8-12 Bbbl range.
