LINKOPING, Sweden — IFS, a cloud enterprise software company, has received Type Approval from DNV, enabling compliance for offshore assets.
The Type Approval covers DNV rules for classification for ships and the DNV class program for machinery planned maintenance system.
IFS helps customers ensure their maintenance management systems are compliant with the demands set by DNV. With the company's IFS Cloud software, users can provide DNV with direct access to all maintenance information required to easily perform surveys and approvals leading to certification. Providing DNV with direct access to all required information through IFS Cloud, as opposed to spending time collating data and producing extensive reports, saves time and costs, according to IFS.
