Subsea7 has issued a progress report on its current offshore oil, gas and wind energy projects in its latest results review.

LUXEMBIOURG Subsea7 has issued a progress report on its current offshore oil, gas and wind energy projects in its latest results review.

During the first quarter, the Seven Oceanic, Seven Pacific, Seven Sisters and Seven Vega vessels were working active for TPAO on the Sakarya subsea-beach gas development in the Turkish sector of the Black Sea, Equinor’s Bacalhau offshore Brazil and Woodside’s Sangomar off Senegal.

Seven Oceans sailed from the Gulf of Mexico to the Norwegian North Sea prepare for the Equinor-operated Northern Lights carbon capture project.

Following recent petroleum tax increases in the UK, clients have postponed previously planned activities leading to reduced take-up of Subsea7’s diving support vessels in this sector.

In the Renewables business division, Seaway Aimery and Seaway Moxie worked on the cable lay scope for the Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farm in the Dutch North Sea.

Seaway Strashnov was in drydock before resuming operations on Dogger Bank A&B in the UK southern North Sea at the end of March. At the Seagreen offshore wind development in the same sector, the final jacket was installed in mid-April.
