LONDON  Serica Energy has secured rig slots to drill infill wells on the Bittern, Gannet E, Guillemot North West and Evelyn fields in the central UK North Sea in 2024, the company revealed in its latest results review.

All the fields are tied back to the Triton FPSO; Serica recently acquired the interests along with former owner Tailwind Energy.

In addition, Serica is assessing potential developments of the Belinda Field as a tieback to the Triton FPSO and also the Mansell Field in the UK northern North Sea.

Close to the company’s Bruce area complex in the northern sector, work last year on the electrical supply to the subsea Keith satellite oil field led to discovery of a fault in the system.

Subsequently, the system was isolated with Keith’s production shut in ahead of a planned replacement installation in third-quarter 2023. This, in combination with a planned well intervention in spring 2024, should restore Keith to sustained production.
