Montara FPSO still offline

SINGAPORE — Jadestone Energy has issued an update on rehabilitation work on the Montara Venture FPSO at the Montara Field offshore northwest Australia.

The facility has been offline following the identification of leaks in certain tanks.

Following completion late last month of the final tank inspection and repairs and the lifting of the NOPSEMA General Direction, recent activity has switched to the planned four-yearly topsides maintenance program.

During tests of process equipment, part of the restart activity, a small number of inconsistencies came to light in standard fittings, and these are being rectified to ensure safe operation.

Activity should be completed in about a week, Jadestone added.
