    Transocean drillship awarded long-term contract offshore Brazil

    STEINHAUSEN, Switzerland — Transocean Ltd. has secured a 910-day contract offshore Brazil for its Dhirubhai Deepwater KG2 ultradeepwater drillship.

    An unnamed national oil company was awarded the program, which carries an estimated value of $392 million excluding the mobilization fee.

    The new contract should begin during the third quarter.
