LONDON —CNR International has initiated a 45-day shutdown of the FPSO at the Espoir Field offshore Côte d'Ivoire for cargo tank maintenance and remediation work.
These are required for vessel class certification, said partner Tullow Oil in its latest results review.
In Côte d'Ivoire offshore Block CI-524, Tullow and co-venturer Petroci are making preparations for a first exploration well.
The concession is located alongside the maritime border with Ghana and is close to Tullow's producing deepwater fields in the Tano Basin.
At one of these fields, the company plans to drill two new Jubilee southeast production wells before year-end 2022 and a further two (one producer and one water injector) in first-half 2023.
