WOODBRIDGE, UK —Yinson Production has ordered two large API 610 OH2 pumps from Amarinth for use on the FPSO Atlanta.
Brazilian operator Enauta recently concluded the purchase of an FPSO for its Atlanta Field in the Santos Basin. This will operate in water depths of 1,500 m and is being adapted by Yinson Production from the existing FPSO OSX-2 under an EPCI contract.
Dubai Drydocks World will perform structural upgrades, refurbishment and equipment enhancements, allowing the new FPSO to start operating in 2024 with a production capacity of 50,000 bbl/d.
The two API 610 OH2 crude transfer duplex pumps with Plan 53B seal support systems will have 570-mm diameter impellers and variable frequency drives.
All electrical items will be IECEx certified for operating in ATEX Zone 1, and the pumps will be ABS-witnessed and certified due to the FPSO being operated under ABS Class.
