ABERDEEN, UK – ADC Energy has secured extensions from three E&P majors for rig inspection, selection, and audit services.
These apply to rigs operating in Europe, West Africa, and the Gulf of Mexico.
Tullow Oil has extended the company’s contract in West Africa by a further two years, with ADC providing operational assurance, rig intake, and acceptance services.
It will also undertake performance monitoring of a 7th generation drillship including its BOP, control systems, root-cause analysis should equipment malfunction, and assessment of the vessel’s condition-based monitoring maintenance system.
An unnamed supermajor has awarded ADC a five-year extension for rig acceptance and inspection services. Since 2021 ADC has supported this company on projects in the UK and Ireland, and on campaigns in Canada and Mexico.
Its services under the extension will include rig selection, newbuild rig shipyard assurance, crew training and competency management system assessments, incident investigations and marine assurance.
Finally, ADC will also deliver a similar scope for another unnamed major under a two-year contract extension.
