Island Diligence on duty at Trianel Windpark Borkum II

Island Offshore has secured two contracts for its walk-to-work vessel Island Diligence.

ULSTEINVIK, NorwayIsland Offshore has secured two contracts for its walk-to-work vessel Island Diligence.

These will keep the vessel employed until late fall.

The Island Diligence has started working for Trianel at the Trianel Windpark Borkum II in the German Bight. The contract duration is about four months, plus options. The vessel will be based in Eemshaven in the Netherlands.

Global Marine Group contracted the vessel for work at Vattenfall’s Kriegers Flak offshore wind park in the Danish sector of the Baltic Sea. The Island Diligence will function as an accommodation vessel, in addition to providing gangway services in connection with cable laying activity.

The contract duration is three months, plus a one-month option. The vessel will mobilize in Grimsby, UK.

The Island Diligence, a UT 717 CDX design, was delivered in 2018. The vessel has an accommodation capacity of 100 persons.
