RIYADH, Saudi ArabiaARO Drilling has deployed IFS Applications software at its headquarters in Saudi Arabia and across its fleet of 16 drilling rigs, which include offshore jackups.

The company, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Valaris, wanted to consolidate its legacy business software, which comprised various disparate systems.

Following a bid process, the company selected IFS Applications. Within nine months the IFS solution was rolled out to 2,400 users among ARO Drilling’s onshore and offshore operations to support maintenance, supply chain management, finance, and human capital management.

According to ARO Drilling IT Director Anas Mosa: “From streamlined procurement and inventory management to more efficient maintenance of critical equipment on our rigs, IFS Applications has made a real difference in how we operate.”
