    OLDENZAAL, the Netherlands – KENC has completed an assignment for Jumbo Offshore for an FPSO installation offshore Brazil.

    Late last year Jumbo commissioned the company to perform engineering and FEM calculations to prepare Jumbo’s the heavy-lift crane vessel Fairplayer for the installation.

    The work scope included engineering of a 192-metric ton gypsy winch grillage and an overboarding tool to handle 120-t torpedo piles.

    KEN undertook FEM calculations in all its activities, including the impacts of these systems on the local hull structure.
