Saipem charters Solstad support vessels

Solstad Offshore ASA has secured contracts in the Middle East and Mediterranean.

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway Solstad Offshore ASA has secured contracts in the Middle East and Mediterranean.

The platform supply vessel (PSV) Far Swan has received a one-year contract extension and is now firm to 4Q 2021. The vessel continues to support drilling operations in the Middle East with a major operator.

Also, the contract for the PSV Sea Spark has been extended by six months to July 2020 to support drilling operations in the Mediterranean.

Saipem has contracted the PSVs Normand Surfer and Normand Supra for work in the Mediterranean. It is expected to start this month for a firm period of 60 days each.

In addition, an unnamed client has exercised its option to extend the contract for the construction support vessel Normand Tonjer by 12 months to November 2020. The client has the option to extend the contract until September 2021.

Solstad owns 56% of the Normand Tonjer.  

Off Brazil, Equinor has extended contracts for the PSVs Far Scotsman and Sea Brasil by respectively two years and one year, to support production activities at the Peregrino field in the Campos basin.
