Vår Energi has booked DeepOcean for an inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) campaign next year offshore Norway.
The focus will be on the Goliat and Balder fields in the Barent Sea and North Sea, with the scope including additional light contruction work.
DeepOcean will provide subsea engineering, project management support, ROV services and subsea tooling, with all work performed from the Olympic Ares subsea vessel.
“Through combining the IMR and the light construction scopes, our…workforce offshore and onshore can offer flexible and efficient execution to be planned together with Vår Energi,” said Olaf A. Hansen, managing director with DeepOcean Europe.
The company will manage the campaign from its base in Haugesund, with support from personnel in Stavanger and Bergen.
