Anasuria Hibiscus UK has contracted Ocean Installer for construction services for the Teal West subsea development in the central UK North Sea.
Teal West, in 90 m water depth in Block 21/24d, will be tied back to the FPSO Anasuria.
The contract workscope includes installation of the subsea manifold, flowlines, umbilicals, risers, tie-ins and protection services. Offshore operations are due to start during the fall of 2025.
The Anasuria FPSO, commissioned originally by Shell and installed in 1996, is 4 km southeast of the planned Teal West drill center. Guillemot A, Cook, Teal and Teal South fields are other producing fields tied back to the facility.
In a results update, Anasuria Hibiscus’ parent company Hibiscus Petroleum said preparations are underway for spudding the first Teal West production well in second-quarter 2025, pending a rig contract, followed later in the year by installation of the umbilical and pipeline back to the FPSO.
First oil should take place around the end of 2025 or early in 2026.
