ABERDEEN, UK– i-Tech Services, a Subsea 7 company has secured a three-year charter agreement with MMA Offshore for the ROV support vessel MMA Pinnacle.
The SPS-compliant vessel, designed for offshore inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) and light construction activities, can accommodate 100 personnel.
Equipment includes a 150-metric ton (165-ton) Macgregor active heave compensating crane mounted on a 1,000-sq m (10,764-sq ft) deck, a helideck, and onboard systems and infrastructure allowing the vessel to work longer periods on location.
It will also be fitted with a range of i-Tech Services equipment for specialized subsea inspection and field support projects, and should be ready for operation in the Asia/Pacific region from September 2018.
