PAPENDRECHT, the Netherlands – Total E&P Denmark has awarded Royal Boskalis Westminster the Tyra redevelopment subsea installation Phase II contract in the Danish North Sea.
The scope includes subsea engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation for the project, which will extend the lifespan of theTyra offshore gas field by at least 25 years.
Boskalis will provide specialist services for relocating and connecting subsea pipelines and the installation of manifolds, vertical platform production risers and umbilicals.
It will manage the program from its offices in Papendrecht and Aberdeen and in Esbjerg, western Denmark, executing most of the offshore work from the diving support vesselBoka Atlantis, a recent addition to the Boskalis fleet.
