CNR International (UK) has awarded Subsea 7 a £6-million contract relating to a new subsea program on its Banff and Kyle fields in the UK central sector of the North Sea. On Banff, the contractor will install a 120-tonne manifold to convert water injector wells into producers, with another being re-configured as a gas injector. Additionally, a 6-in. flowline will be laid and various spools disconnected. Subsea 7 will also tie the Kyle well 14 flowline to theBanff FPSO. Offshore operations should start shortly, using the installation vessels Polaris and Pelican.
