The work scope encompasses the replacement of a 10-in. flexible flowline between a fixed drilling and production platform and the FPSOFarwha.
The project will be managed from Ocean Installer’s Stavanger and Aberdeen offices in cooperation with Mabruk Oil Operations and onshore engineering has begun. Mobilization and offshore operations are scheduled for 3Q-4Q 2017.
The Al Jurf oil field is about 150 km (93.2 mi) offshore northwest Libya, in a water depth of about 80-90 m (262-295 ft). The field, which came onstream in 2003, is operated by Mabruk Oil Operations, a joint venture between Total E&P and the National Oil Cooperation of Libya.
