HOUSTON -- Deep Marine Technology (DMT) has reached an agreement with Horizon Offshore Contractors Inc. to supply 14 divers for subsea construction support from Horizon barges Lone Star Horizon and Canyon Horizon.

DMT's scope of work includes supporting construction, directional drilling, burial, and hydrostatic testing on the Marsopa project's 20-in. (51-cm) pipeline in 130 ft (140 m) of water in the Bay of Campeche.

This is DMT's first job in Mexico, the company says. "As our company continues to increase in both asset offerings and personnel growth, we feel that this is the next logical step to further the expansion of the company," says Paul McKim, CEO of DMT.
