TANANGER, Norway -- Norske Shell has awarded JP Kenny Norway a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for the high-pressure/high-temperature Linnorm field development in the Norwegian Sea.
The project involves provision of a full subsea, umbilical, riser, and flowline (SURF) work scope.
The $9-million contract is part of a globalEnterprise Frame Agreement which Shell awarded earlier this year to Wood Group Kenny. Work will be performed at JP Kenny’s offices in Stavanger and Oslo.
