Offshore staff
LUXEMBOURG – Talisman Energy Norge (TSX:TLM;NYSE:TLM) has awarded Subsea 7 (Børs:SUBC) a contract for the Varg field gas export system, 200 km (124 mi) offshore Norway in the North Sea.
The $60-million program involves engineering, procurement, installation, and construction of a 6-km (3.7-mi) flowline and flexible riser system, and installation of associated subsea structures, protection systems, and tie-ins.
Subsea 7’s Stavanger offices are handling engineering and project management, with offshore operations due to start next summer.
