DAVIS, California– RRC Robotics Submarina has contracted Schilling Robotics for two 150-hp, 3,000 m-rated HD ROV systems. Scheduled for delivery in 2Q 2012, the systems will be installed on two separate vessels for work offshore Brazil.
Tyler Schilling, CEO of Schilling Robotics, said: “RRC Robotica’s expanding local presence in Brazil is indicative of the growth in this region. Schilling has partnered with FMC Technologies to provide the same high standards of training, spares, and technical support that our customers expect when operating worldwide. This includes a dedicated new training and support facility in Macaé, Brazil, which will be a great resource for RRC.”
