ZOETERMEER, the Netherlands – Subsea 7 has contracted Seaway Heavy Lifting to deliver a wet gas compression station to the Gullfaks complex in the Norwegian North Sea.
The crane vesselOleg Strashnov will transport and install the 500-ton module and 300-ton protection structure for Statoil’s Gullfaks subsea compression project, 15 km (9.3 mi) south of the Gullfaks C platform.
Work will be performed in spring 2015 in a water depth of 140 m (459 ft), with the vessel in DP mode during the installation.
