OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has authorized ExxonMobil to start-up a subsea facility for production well 25/11-E-29 AH on the Balder field.
Balder began producing oil in 1999. The field, in production license 001 in the central Norwegian North Sea, has been developed with subsea wells connected to an FPSO. Oil is offloaded to a tanker.
