LUXEMBOURG – Woodside Energy has awarded Subsea 7 an installation contract for the Greater Western Flank Phase 2 project offshore Western Australia.
The Greater Western Flank is on the North West Shelf, 60 km (37 mi) southwest of the Goodwyn Alpha (GWA) platform. Subsea 7’s scope comprises thesubsea tieback of adjacent fields to the GWA platform, including installation of manifolds, umbilicals and spool pieces, and pre-commissioning of the system.
The company will handle project management and engineering from its office in Perth, with offshore operations due to start in 2018.
