Exxon Mobil has contracted Aker Solutions to provide subsea umbilicals for the newly launched Uaru project in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.

FORNEBU, Norway – Exxon Mobil has contracted Aker Solutions to provide subsea umbilicals for the newly launched Uaru project in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.
The scope of supply includes three dynamic and seven static umbilicals (over 52 km in total).
Aker Solutions’ complex in Mobile, Alabama, will perform project execution, engineering and manufacturing, with delivery expected in first-quarter 2026.
Previously Exxon Mobil contracted the company for umbilicals for the Payara and Yellowtail projects on the same block.
The Uaru Field development, due to start up in 2026, will produce about 250,000 bbl/d of oil.
