PARIS — The rapid growth of offshore wind farms and interconnected grid projects is putting more and more pressure on the global power cable supply chain. Developers and shipowners need in-depth coverage and intelligence to ramp up their capacities.

Spinergie's new Cable Module leverages data from more than 17,000 km of subsea cable-laying campaigns, including array, export and interconnectors to address this need. Developers, installation contractors and shipowners can now access a comprehensive tool that provides in-depth performance and operational metrics for the offshore wind cable market as well as cable infrastructure.

In a report released earlier this year, Spinergie said cable demand from offshore wind continues to trend upward and is set to grow further.
