LUXEMBOURG —bp has contracted Subsea Integration Alliance (OneSubsea and Subsea7) to supply and install the main subsea facilities for the Cypre gas development offshore Trinidad and Tobago.
Subsea7 said its scope covers the concept and design, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a two-phase liquid natural gas tieback to the Juniper platform through dual flexible flowlines and a manifold gathering system, along with topside upgrades.
The company will manage design, engineering and project management from its offices in the US, with offshore installation planned for 2024.
Earlier this year Subsea Integration Alliance was amended and renewed for 10 years upon closing. Aker Solutions, SLB and Subsea7 formed a joint venture, contributing to their subsea businesses, which is owned 70% by Schlumberger, 20% by Aker Solutions and 10% by Subsea 7.
